Hogwarts Legacy – All Room of Requirement upgrades

Make the space your own.

After unlocking the Room of Requirement with Professor Weasley, you'll likely get straight to work putting new objects and decorations in your personal space. You may also start to run out of room quickly, or, if you know about Vivariums, may be anxious to unlock them. Here's how you can upgrade your Room of Requirement and unlock new Vivaruims and more space in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to upgrade the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy

The Room of Requirement can only be upgraded by completing quests, and those quests will only unlock after progressing through the main story. There is no other way to upgrade your Room of Requirement, unfortunately. They will all be given to you by Deek, the room's resident House-Elf. These are the quests you should be on the look out for to upgrade the space:

  • The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom in which you unlock your first Vivarium and the Enchanted Loom.
  • The Plight of The House-Elf in which you unlock a second Vivarium.
  • Foal of The Dead in which you unlock a third Vivarium, more space in the left hand room, and magical beast breeding.
  • Phoenix Rising in which you unlock the last Vivarium, and you'll gain a Phoenix pet.

Once you have unlocked all of these quests and upgrades, you should have more than enough room for all of the potion brewing stations, large planters, and decorations you could ever hope for.
