Best Guinaifen build in Honkai Star Rail

While Mihoyo states she is a Support character, Gunaifen is more of a hybrid unit. She provides support to her teammates while dealing pretty high DoT. Guinaifen's Skill has a 100% chance of inflicting a Burn effect DoT on your target and enemies on either side of the target.

This high-scaling Fire DoT can also cause Firekiss, a debuff that increases the damage enemies receive for three turns from all teammates. This debuff can stack up to three times. Your strategy for Guinaifen should be to use her Skill as often as possible in order to activate all the debuffs and DoT.

Best Light Cones for Guinaifen in Honkai Star Rail

Here's a list of all the best light cones for Giunaifen:

• Solitary Healing (5*) - Increases Guinaifen's Break Effect by 20%. Even better, when you activate her Ultimate, you'll increase her DoT by 24% for two turns. This light cone also regenerates 4 Energy if the target is defeated.
• Eyes of the Prey (4*) - Increases EHR by 20%, helping Guinaifen reach that 67% guarantee. Her DoT is also increased by 24%.
• Good Night and Sleep Well (4*) - For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by Guinaifen increases by 12%, stacking up to three times. And since it also applies to DoT, this cone is an excellent option for her.

Best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Guinaifen in Honkai Star Rail

For Guinaifen's Relics setup, the perfect combination to increase her DMG output are:

• 2pc Firesmith of Lava-Forging (+ 10% Fire DMG)
• 2pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat (+12% ATK)

As for Guinaifen's Planar Ornaments, I recommend using either of the following:

• Space Sealing Station - this set increases ATK by 12%, and if Guinaifen's SPD is 120 or higher, then she gets another +12% ATK.
• Fleet of the Ageless - Increases her Max HP by 12%. If her SPD is higher than 120 then this Planar Ornament will increase all teammates' ATK by 8%.

Which stats should you boost on Giunaifen?

Here's what you should be focusing on for Guinaifen's stats as a sub-DPS support character:

• Body: EHR%
• Feet: SPD
• Sphere: Fire DMG%
• Rope: ATK%

Regarding her substats, focus on ATK%, SPD, EHR%. If your EHR is at the recommended 67% for a guarantee, you can opt for ATK% on Body instead.

Best Guinaifen Team Comps in Honkai Star Rail

Guinaifen pairs really well with Kafka, a DoT main DPS, whose Skill and Ultimate also help stack up the Firekiss debuff on enemies. If you don't have Kafka yet, you could shift to a more Burn-focused team, which includes either Himeko or Hook.

Your Guinaifen team should definitely include Asta as well. She's a high-damage boost support unit that increases both SPD and ATK of her teammates with her abilities. You could also bring buffers like Tingyun and Bronya if you don't want to bring Asta.

You'll also want to bring a solo sustain like Luocha, a healer, or Fu Xuan, a shielder that can heal themselves, heal allies, and distribute buffs.
