Honkai Star Rail Main Character Names

Despite its sci-fi twist, Honkai: Star Rail is much like Genshin Impact in many ways, from character design to quests. This means that its main characters have canon names as well. If you’re planning to journey as either and would like to use their real names in your quest, this is the guide for you.

Who are the main characters in Honkai Star Rail?

The main characters in Honkai: Star Rail are named Caelus (male) and Stelle (female), respectively. You can first pick your Receptacle Trailblazer’s gender after the prologue/tutorial chapter with Kafka and Silver Wolf. Much like Genshin Impact, your choice of character will only affect the plot in minor ways, such as pronouns and small dialogue, so feel free to choose whichever Trailblazer you fancy more.

Can you change the main character’s name?

A code name is assigned at the beginning (which you can set instead of the default), but you’re free to change it after a three-day cooldown. Remember not to use any offensive text, as this will double as your username.

How to change your name in Honkai Star Rail

To change your Honkai: Star Rail username, follow the steps below:

1. Click the phone icon in the top left corner.
2. Select the three dots beside your name and choose Trailblazer Profile.
3. On your Trailblazer Profile, you’ll see a tiny pencil icon beside your username. Click on it to edit.

And that’s pretty much it! On the same page, you can also set a Support Character you’d like to send other players as an assist. So make sure they’re well-built!
