Horizon Forbidden West is set to arrive on Feb. 18, 2022, with both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions available at launch. Players can experience Aloy's next adventure on the PS4 and will be able to transfer your save data to PS5 once you can upgrade to those hard-to-find consoles. According to the official Playstation website, here is how you do it.

Import PS4 saved data to your PS5 console
On your PS4 Console:
- Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management.
- Select Saved Data in System Storage.
- Insert a supported USB Storage Device and select Copy to USB Storage Device. If you're using the PlayStation Cloud, select Upload to Online Storage.
- Select saved data to copy.

On your PS5 Console
- Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings
- Select Saved Data (PS4). If using a USB Drive, insert it into your PS5 console and select USB Drive > Copy to Console Storage and select the save file. If using PlayStation Cloud, select Cloud Storage > Download to Console Storage. Select the save file and then select Download.
- Launch Horizon Forbidden West.
- When the title screen loads, select Import Game From Playstation 4.
- Select your saved data to import.
- When the import is complete, the saved data will automatically load.
