How to complete ‘Isle of Spires’ Relic Ruins in Horizon Forbidden West

The island New Years' relic!

As with each of the Relic Ruins, the Isle of Spires can be a bit confusing as it is a mixture of puzzles and climbing. The Isle of Spires is the only Relic Ruin on the far island where Landfall is based. Scaling this skyscraper can be both infuriating and dangerous.

Powering the Elevator

After scaling up to the first open level, players will need to head through the room with the energy cell port into the farthest room. In this back room, there is a vent on the ceiling that can be opened to crawl through. Use this to reach the closed-off room and open it with the Firegleam.

Players can then head out into the room to the left of the closed one to grab the energy cell. Take this energy cell back to the room that was just opened to charge it. After it's been charged, players can then take it to the door that needs to be powered. This will open the elevator to take up to the farthest next level.

On the next available level, head over to where the crate is floating in the water and pullcast it up onto the dry part of the floor. Then push it into the other flooded open room. Swim over to the metal flower and pullcast the crate over to this other side.

Stand on the crate while it is floating in the water and look through the open crack in the wall. From here Aloy can shoot the lock off of the ladder on the other side of this wall. Once this is done, destroy the metal flower to reach the ladder on the other side of the lattice. Climb up the ladder and jump backward to reach the next level where the main office key is.
