There are a lot of reasons that you may need to migrate your Horizon Forbidden West save. Whether you finally got your hands on a PlayStation 5, or you started your game on the wrong version, it's easy to transfer your save. All you have to do is follow the simple process below.

How to migrate Horizon Forbidden West Data

Here's How to move your data from a Playstation 4 console.

  • Open settings on your console.
  • Click application saved data management.
  • Go to saved data in system storage.
  • Find Horizon Forbidden West.
  • Choose to upload your save to the Cloud or to save it to a USB drive.

Keep in mind that you need PlayStation Plus to use the Cloud Storage feature. Next, you will want to boot up your PlayStation 5.

  • Go to settings on your console
  • Click application saved data.
  • Select saved data PS4 and choose between Cloud Storage or USB.
  • Hit save game to copy.

Now you will need to go to Horizon Forbidden West and go to the title screen. You will see an option called, import can from PlayStation 4, click it to begin importing your save. Once the system is done transferring your game, Horizon Forbidden West will automatically begin playing where you left off on your last PS4 save.
