How to beat the Prospector in Inscryption

There's gold in them cards!

Inscryption is a dark and creepy deck builder game in which you utilize animals to make your way through a forest while a potential psychopath observes. This psychopath acts as your captor, narrator, and opponent throughout the game. Another role your captor takes on is that of boss fights.

The Prospector is one such boss, and if you aren't prepared, you could easily lose. You can make only two mistakes before your candle is snuffed out and you are sacrificed. You might wonder how to defeat the Prospector.

The first thing you should do is prioritize killing the Prospector's pack mule. Place high damaging cards across from the pack mule. Be aware that it will move slots, so be ready to place more damaging cards in front of it. Once you have defeated the pack mule, you will be awarded several cards. Try and save as many cards as you can, and don't overplay.

The Prospector has two phases. The first utilizes the pack mule, coyote, and other cards. After you lower his scale, one of the candles in the skull will extinguish, and the scale will reset. The Prospector will then attack all cards on your side of the board, destroying them and replacing them with gold nuggets with two hit points.

Utilize the cards you got from the pack mule and those you have saved to defeat the bloodhound and adder cards the Prospector uses. If you saved your cards, you shouldn't have any trouble defeating the second phase.
