How to get more healing potions in Loot River

Soap seems sketchy, but he's alright!

Loot River is an unforgiving rogue-lite game where you battle dangerous monsters while exploring a mysterious labyrinth. You have a handful of potions that can heal and restore your life to aid you on your journey. But since you have a finite number, you may be wondering if you can get more healing potions in Loot River.

To get more healing potions in Loot River, you need to speak to a specific NPC named Soap. This alchemist can be found standing at the entrance to the Sunken Village. Speak to him, and he will offer to double your potions if you give them to him.

Should you give your healing potions to Soap in Loot River?

The answer is yes—you should give your potions to Soap in Loot River. Soap will double the number of potions you give him, increasing how many potions you can have. But, when you give Soap your potions, you will not have them until you speak to him again. This means you must enter the dungeon with no way to heal yourself.

While Soap has your potions, we recommend playing very carefully and avoiding getting hit or simply speedrunning your way through to the elevator. Once you take the elevator and return to the Sanctuary, you can speak to Soap and reclaim your healing potions.
