How to change your name in Lost Ark

Do you want a new name?

Unlike some MMOs, Lost Ark allows players to change their names after creating a character. The process is simple and can be done at any time.

Go to the Character Selection screen and select the character whose name you want to change. You will see a Change Name button on the bottom right. Click it. A new dialogue box will appear asking you for one Name Change Ticket. Afterward, you can change the name.

You'll have to spend 1,500 Royal Crystals, the premium currency in the game, to get a Name Change Ticket. You can only get Premium Currency from packs that you buy with real-world cash.

Currently, these are the packs that Royal Crystals come with:

  • 1,000 Royal Crystals – $9.99
  • 2,200 Royal Crystals (+10% bonus) – $19.99
  • 5,750 Royal Crystals (+15% bonus) – $49.99
  • 12,000 Royal Crystals (+20% bonus) – $99.99

The name change for a Lost Ark character will cost a minimum of $20. You can buy these packs if you're going to buy them anyway, but depending on how far you've gotten in the game, you might be better off starting over.
