What do the icons mean in the ocean in Lost Ark? Map Key icons, explained

Take to the seas.

As players gain a ship and take to the high seas of Arkesia in Lost Ark, they're bound to notice a host of new icons on the world map. These colorful points of interest mark exciting new adventures and perilous dangers that adventurers must brave as they explore islands and collect Mokoko Seeds.

Marina

Marinas appear as white teepee's that act as docks for a certain period of time.

Cold Snap Seas

Cold Snap Seas are marked by blue frozen ships and will damage and slow ships.

Ghost Ship

Ghost Ships are gray ships that identify the weekly raid encounters.

Gold anchors mark ports for the various continents.

Sandstorm Seas

A gold tornado marks Sandstorm Seas which deal extra damage to ships and reduce visibility.

Siren Seas

Siren Seas are marked by a pink mermaid and will stun a ship if it stays in its waters for too long.

Tempest Seas

A blue wave identifies Tempest Seas that will disable skills and damage ships.

Dead Waters

Dead Waters are marked by a gray Grim Reaper and will impose a huge health and speed decrease on ships.

Kelp Bed

Kelp Beds appear as teal kelp. They are full of algae that will exponentially slow a ship down the longer it stays in the area.
