What is Gear Transfer in Lost Ark?

When you reach Level 320 in Lost Ark, you'll have to start honing your gear. Later, you'll gain even better gear and may feel like you wasted Honor Leapstones and Crystal Fragments. Luckily, Gear Transfer solves this.

Gear Transfer simply transfers your stats from one piece of honed gear to another. Therefore, every upgrade is worth the Honor Leapstones and Crystal Fragments. It's that simple. When upgrading to more rare equipment, you should really use Gear Transfer since it can cost very little silver to convert a well-honed uncommon gear into a rare one.

How to Gear Transfer in Lost Ark

You will find a Gear Transfer tab when speaking with a Gear Honing merchant. This tab is next to the Gear Honing tab. Once you've reached that tab:

1. On the left, click on the piece of gear you want to move the good attributes to.
2. On the right, pick the gear you want to receive attributes from.
3. Click Recycling

The gear on the right will be destroyed, and the gear on the right will be upgraded with the stats of the destroyed gear.
