When can you use/get a mount in Lost Ark Closed Beta – Trace the Stone Tablet Main Quest

If you are playing the Lost Ark Closed Beta, you get 40,000 free Royal Crystals for free. These crystals can be purchased on a plethora of stuff inside the in-game shop—things such as pets, skins, and mounts.

You can get two mounts instantly from the in-game store, a Flashing Black Cloud and a Cold White Cloud. But you cannot ride them yet. If you attempt to, a message will appear saying—you must first complete the Mount quest before you can. But you do get a free mount from the main quest, Trace the Stone Tablet.

This quest is available not long into the game. You must first do a number of quests around Loghill. The final part of this quest—Trace the Stone Tablet— is to speak to Kahan about the Tablet's whereabouts.

The second you speak to Kahan, the quest is completed, and you get a mount slot and a choice of three horses. But if you already have purchased one of the Cloud mounts, you can now equip it into your hotbar and roam around the area quicker.
