The highly anticipated Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is soon approaching, and Ubisoft has been giving fans more information on the title as its October 20, 2022 release date approaches. This includes information on the newly playable Bowser, several of the planets you will explore, and more.
This information comes via a new Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope video uploaded to the Ubisoft YouTube channel. In it, Lead Producer Xavier Manzanares dives deep into many of the game's new features like gameplay, story, the worlds, and Sparks.
A big chunk of the video breaks down some of the planets you travel to, including Beacon Beach and Pristine Peaks. Each planet has its own theme, now corrupted by the powers of Cursa, Wardens, and multiple zones to explore. Travel from gloomy beaches overcast with darkness to the top of a frozen mountain as you explore.
One of the team's newest additions is Bowser, who decides to help Mario after Cursa brainwashed most of his minions. He sports a large rocket launcher, and players will get to see lifelong enemies work together, along with the humor Bowser brings to the team through interactions with the Rabbids.
