Special Lens & Tripod

Players can try out special lenses to enhance photography in Martha is Dead. These include modes for close-up, color correction, and of course, Infrared. Throughout the game, you can spot these various lenses to scoop up and add to your inventory. You can usually find the Infrared lens either on the darkroom table or on the desk of the father's study on the second floor.

You will also need a tripod to stabilize the camera to take Infrared photos. You will use the same tripod you used for the self-portrait of Guilia. You can go back to the cellar to collect the tripod and keep it in her bag until you are ready to use it.

According to the game, it is ideal to shoot infrared photographs on foggy mornings, right before dawn or nighttime. These are allegedly the best conditions to capture supernatural activity on camera. You can also keep an eye out for identifiers of photography opportunities. These will be marked by a camera symbol, which looks like a rectangle and two circles.
