The best Doctor Doom decks in Marvel Snap

Make doom supreme in these powerful decks.

The final turn of every Marvel Snap can be a nerve-wracking yet exciting experience. While the game's meta has certainly turned towards players using specific deck lists that they can learn the matchup for, there are still plenty of players brewing up decks that are built to surprise opponents. A great example of a card that will almost always be a surprise to opponents is Doctor Doom, and for that reason he is an incredibly strong card. Below you will find some of the best deck lists featuring the deadly doctor.

What decks run Doctor Doom in Marvel Snap?

Storm Control

Though the archetype died with the rise of Silver Surfer and then Zabu, Storm Control may have a spot in the meta again with the Surfer and Zabu nerfs. Along with its namesake Storm coming into to take a location out early, this archetype utilizes strong tech cards like Enchantress and Shang-Chi to counter the game plans of other decks. Doctor Doom fits well here because he can threaten all three locations, especially the Storm location where the opponent can no longer play.

This deck can take many forms at the highest level, so feel free to tweak this deck list and code based on matchups:

  • Iceman
  • Angela
  • Scorpion
  • Lizard
  • Storm
  • Juggernaut
  • Maximus
  • Shang-Chi
  • Jessica Jones
  • Captain Marvel
  • Aero
  • Doctor Doom

On Reveal Ramp

Ramp decks are a somewhat atypical archetype in high ranks, unless you're counting Galactus decks. However, On Reveal ramp decks can be quite potent with the right setup. This particular deck specializes in using Psylocke, Electro, and Wave to cheat out powerful five- and six-Cost On Reveal cards that combo with each other. Doctor Doom is incredibly strong in this deck when ramped into before the final turn, as an Arnim Zola or Odin on top of him will flood the board with Doom Bots.

Below you'll find the deck list and code:

  • Psylocke
  • Wave
  • Electro
  • Shuri
  • Jubilee
  • Gamora
  • Aero
  • Black Panther
  • Arnim Zola
  • Doctor Doom
  • Odin
  • Magneto

Sandman Prison

A deck devised by popular Marvel Snap streamer Jeff Hoogland, this deck may be the solution to the Sandman puzzle. The problem with Sandman is that his high Cost and very low Power create such a tempo deficit that it becomes next to impossible to play him without losing. However, in Sandman Prison, nerfed Zabu or Psylocke can come down on the second turn so that you can get Sandman out on the third turn. This single change makes Sandman so much more devastating to the opponent. In combination with cards like Sunspot, Klaw, The Vision, and Doctor Doom to create extra Power in locations that normally would be lost, this deck looks to make sure you're having fun and the opponent is not.

Here is the deck list and code for those looking to punish opponents for playing low-Cost cards:

  • Sunspot
  • Iceman
  • Psylocke
  • Zabu
  • Storm
  • Sandman
  • Jessica Jones
  • Rescue
  • Klaw
  • The Vision
  • Doctor Doom
  • America Chavez
