According to How Long to Beat, Metroid Dread will take players anywhere from 7-11 hours to complete, depending on how much of the game's side content players choose to participate in. Those who focus on the main story alone can expect their game to last around 7 hours.

Players who enjoy exploring side areas, grabbing some collectibles, and trying out some of the extras make up the bulk of the players, so most can expect the game to last about 9 hours. In comparison, completionists will see approximately 11 hours of playtime.
