How to install the No Chat Reports mod on Minecraft

If you are unhappy with the new chat report system, you can disable it by installing the No Chat Reports mod. To install the No Chat Reports mod on Minecraft, you can do so by first downloading the mod over at Curse Forge. You can also download and install the mod if the Curse Forge app is on your PC. That said, here is how to manually install the Minecraft No Chat Reports mod.

How to install the Minecraft No Chat Reports mod manually 

To manually install the No Chat Reports mod, you must first download the mod from Curse Forge. You will also need to download the latest version of Minecraft forge and Java to run the Forge installer. After installing Forge using its installer, download the No Chat Reports mod, and throw it inside your Minecraft folder. You can find your Minecraft folder inside the address shown below.

  • C:\Users\yourpcname\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft

If you do not see a folder labeled Mods inside the Minecraft folder, create it, then place the No Chat Reports mod inside of it.

How to install the Minecraft No Chat Reports mod using Curseforge

If you want to install the No Chat Report mod using the Curseforge app, you must download the mod using Curseforge. You can download the No Chat Report mod by heading over to Curse Forge and using the install button instead of the download button.

Pressing the Install button on the Curse Forge site will automatically download and install the mod through the Curse Forge app. However, this is only the case if you have installed the Curse Forge app. If you haven't installed the Curse Forge app, do so before downloading and installing the No Chat Reports mod. 

After installing Curse Forge, press the Install button on the mod's page, and it will ask you to set up a profile for the No Chat Reports mod back on the Curse Forge app. Set up a Profile, and you can play Minecraft with the No Chat Reports mod by hitting play on the Curse Forge Launcher.
