Starting with green dye, you can make it with cactus blocks, which you can find inside the desert biomes in the game. When you find them, Cactus blocks can be broken with an axe tool or your fists, but you will take damage, so it's ideal to use a tool.

Once broken, you will then need to take the cactus block back to your furnace and melt it down with some coal. After a while, the cactus blocks will melt down into the green dye you need for the recipe for cyan dye in Minecraft.

Next, you will need Blue dye, and to get it is straightforward. In short, all you will need is one of the two items listed below.

  • Cornflower: To get cornflowers, you will need to search forest and plains biomes in the game.
  • Lapis Lazuli: To get Lapis Lazuli, you will need to mine lapis lazuli ore and melt it down inside a furnace.

If you get either cornflowers or lapis lazuli, you can then make a blue dye by putting one of the materials inside a crafting table.

When you get both green and blue dye crafted, follow the recipe at the start of this guide to make cyan dye in Minecraft.
