We New World players have been waiting for content for a long time now. I have been there; everyone who picked New World up at launch knows the feeling. It was only recently when the Brimstone Sands update launched, and new content is still arriving with New World's Fury of the Spriggan event/update.
What is Fury of the Spriggan in New World?
New World's Fury of the Spriggan is an event that will last from May 24, 2023, to June 13, 2023. Over 20+ players during the event can embark on open world encounters during the event to earn a vast array of rewards. In the event, players must team up and beat the mighty Sprriggan to earn rewards. Beating the Spriggan once during the event nets players the following rewards:
All Fury of the Spriggan Completion Rewards in New World
- A 50 percent chance of rolling a procedural weapon or armor piece. Either weapon or armor is also guaranteed to be Rare or above. All rewards will also be around the player's current level.
- A 30 percent chance of rolling an item from the Global Named List.
- A 20% chance of rolling items from the Spriggan Arena Named List.
- r various container resources.
- level-appropriate consumables such as health, and mana.
- 1 Obsidian Gypsum ( 3x loot limit applies).
All Daily Rewards for New World's Fury of the Spriggan event
Along with earning rewards upon completing the Spriggan event, players can also earn several daily rewards. These rewards include the following listed below:
- Up to five Flame Cores
- 250 Umbral Shards.
- One event-only Mossborne Weapon or Armor - The weapon or armor will have Weapon Appropriate Attribute + Empty Gem Slot + Angry Earth Bane Perk.
Other rewards include one of 12 perk resources and one of six exclusive named items. Players also get a five percent chance of rolling a Timeless shard and a two percent chance of Spriggan Flame Brazier housing item.
New World's Fury of the Spriggan event Lore summary
The gist of the lore for New World's Fury of the Spriggan event is that a group of dryads summoned a giant tree. The giant tree is called a Spriggan and is now destroying everything because it's mad nature is being destroyed (understandable).
