If you are wondering if New World has mod support, it's unclear at the moment. We haven't heard anything about the subject from the developers over at Amazon games. Nor was an announcement for the feature made by any official channels for the game.
We also checked the FAQ and didn't find anything to confirm mod support for New World. We will monitor the subject and update this guide should anything change regarding mod support in New World.
In the meantime, all there seems to be in the way of mod support in New World remains shader mods that don't affect the game much beyond visuals.
You can find these shaders mostly at the Nexus mod site, and other sites have categories for the game but no mods. This is because there may be no official mod support yet announced for the game.
