How to make dye in New World?

Character customization plays a key role in MMOs, and New World is no different. Making your character unique and tied to you is one of the best ways to enjoy the game. There are numerous options to do so and one of which is to dye your apparel.

To do so, you will need dye. The dye will change the color of your apparel and allow you to create a unique look. To get dye, you will first need to find pigments which you will then need to cook into dyes. Pigments can be harvested from fungus and prismabloom as well as received via quests and trading.

In addition to dying your armor, some furniture recipes will also call for the use of dye. Having different colored furniture from your friends is a great way to show off. You can even match your armor color to your furniture color if you want.

There are 12 pigments in New World but multiple different dyes that can be crafted from them. That means if you want to see all the different color combinations, you will need to focus on harvesting these pigments and your cooking skill. With all the different dye colors at your disposal, you can customize your armor and furniture how you see fit.
