Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2021. Not to be confused with the remake of the title announced for PC and PS5, this will be the original 2003 version of KOTOR that will be released on the Nintendo Switch this coming November.
Knights of the Old Republic was originally released for the Xbox console and was positively received, winning numerous awards, including the BAFTA Best Xbox Game of the Year and Game Developer's Choice Game of the Year. KOTOR is coming to the Nintendo Switch, making the classic title available on a Nintendo console for the first time.

The RPG title features a unique combat system with real-time round-based combat, which the player can pause at any given time. KOTOR follows a customizable main character throughout events during the Old Republic Era, thousands of years before the era the movie franchise is set in.
The mysterious storyline unfolds as the player progresses through the game, learning more about the conflicts happening all over the galaxy. KOTOR features a rich, dynamic story that changes drastically based on the player's decisions. Relationships with party members and the character's alignment with light and dark will change throughout the game based on dialogue and actions.
KOTOR has been released on console and mobile in the past, but the Nintendo Switch is both a handheld and home console, making the Star Wars RPG experience even more interesting. Players will be able to take the story on the go with the many hours that they can spend exploring the KOTOR world.
