People Playground is a brutal yet strangely fun game that allows you to smash, bash, slice, poison, and explode gray humanoid ragdolls for your entertainment. Cartoonishly violent in a manner reminiscent of the incredibly popular internet game Happy Wheels, this game is like the level building from Happy Wheels, allowing you to set up scenarios that will most likely involve destruction but don't have to. However, you can extend this fun even further with the right mod, and this game has plenty of great mods for you to try out, so below you can find 10 of the best mods for People Playground.
What are the best mods for People Playground?
Weapon size affects its power
The first mod ensures this list starts off strong and fun, as ibiglaser's Size Matters mod is as straightforward as it is wacky. This mod changes weapons so that the size of the weapon increases its power and damage, causing a regular pistol to become a tank cannon when increased enough in size. Melee weapons become wrecking balls, guns become bombs, and explosives become nukes when their size is increased, making for a fun, destructive mod to add to your collection.
You can find and download this mod by subscribing to its Steam Page, where a full breakdown of the mod and how to use it can be located.
People Playground 3D
The title says it all with this mod by Team Wilson, as the mod actually causes People Playground to become a fully three-dimensional game, making for a completely new experience while also keeping the same destructive spirit of the two-dimensional version. This mod causes the typical gray side scrolling area to become a giant cube, allowing you to take full advantage of the dimensional shift with all the same weapons and tools at your disposal. The mod also makes said weapons and tools 3D along with everything else in the game.
For those looking to add an extra dimension to their People Playground gameplay, you can head over to the mod's Steam Page to subscribe and download this mod.
Quick Right Click Options
Though People Playground is a great game, every title has its flaws, and one of the flaws of People Playground is that reorienting people and things can become a bit tedious, especially if you want to perform a lot of actions in a short time. Currently, it requires opening and closing menus, but with Pump3d's Quick Right Click Options mod, you can quickly perform commands with the press of a mouse button. Featuring commands like knocking out, suffocation, and zombifying, there are several commands that this mod makes much quicker to perform.
Want to make killing, reviving, and collapsing just a couple of button presses away? Check out this mod on its Steam Page to see everything you'll need to use this mod.

Human Tiers
Alibarda's Human Tiers mod adds a ton of new ragdolls into the game that all have different abilities, making gameplay much more interesting due to the new variables. These new variables come in the form of the different tiers, ranging from slightly above average humans in Tier One to literal gods in Tier Eight. In between these tiers are superhumans, mutants, robots, and other ragdolls that all have unique abilities, many of which destroy stuff in unique ways. In total, this mod adds 35 new humans to the game, making for a mod packed full of content to mess around with.
Looking to add a ton of new ragdolls to create amazing new scenarios with? Head over to the mod's Steam Page to look over its notes and give it a try.
Active Humans
The name says it all, as this mod by quaq turns the regular unmoving ragdolls into human NPCs that will move around and react to actions you take in the game. For example, humans will hold up their hands if you point a gun at them and will run away if harmed. The mod also adds new settings to humans, such as berserk which causes them to attack other humans and Control Human which allows you to control them with the WASD keys. These new settings allow for the ragdolls to perform their own actions, changing gameplay into either a more hands-off or more interactive experience.
Quaq's mod can be downloaded by subscribing to it on its Steam Page, but be sure to read over the notes first.
Super Droids
Much like the Human Tiers mod previously, Zebra Gaming TV's Super Droids mod brings new ragdolls to the game, but these are far from ordinary humans. Instead, the mod adds superpowered droids that each have their own unique abilities. For example, the Telekinesis Droid can pull limbs off of other ragdolls and can send objects flying through the air, while the Fire Droid passively superheats any surface it comes in contact with and fires heat lasers. In short, this mod's droids add a ton of diversity to the game through their power and effects.
If you're thinking about causing a robotic ruckus in the playground, head over to the mod's Steam Page to download it and read up on all the features it contains.
The Ultimate Car Mod
If you're looking to not only add a bunch of new vehicles to People Playground but also add new features to all of the vehicles, look no further than Quickness' Ultimate Car mod. It adds 15 new assets to the game, including a truck trailer, along with alternate skins for some of the assets as well. The mod also adds head lights, turn signals, and brake lights to the vehicles. Lastly, the mod makes it so you can see into the vehicles by right-clicking them and clicking show inside. All of these features combine to make vehicles a much more interesting asset to add to your playground.
For those looking to spice up their space with new cars, you can download this mod from its Steam Page, but be sure to look over all the notes Quickness has made for it.
Foods+
If you're a less violence-oriented player of People Playground or a specifically food violence-oriented player, look no further than TimTam's Food+ mod. This mod adds over twenty foods to the game that can either be spawned in or created through cooking or baking. These foods all have effects, with many of them simply growing or shrinking ragdolls, but some of which have actual effects they apply to ragdolls. The mod also adds growing or shrinking to ragdolls as they eat, with more food causing bigger ragdolls. Lastly, the mod adds an oven that cooks and bakes, and yes, it can also cook and bake ragdolls.
If you're looking to turn People Playground into Killer Kitchen, you can check out the mod on its Steam Page where TimTam breaks down the mod's features further.
Torture
Don't let the name perturb you too much, as this mod just adds more devices to cause carnage within People Playground, which is the point of the game for many players. Granted, the devices this mod adds are indeed quite violent, such as a bear trap, a microwave, and a taser. Regardless, the nine new items this mod brings to the game adds that much more diversity to the scenarios that can be created, and thus is a great addition to any gamer's mod collection for People Playground.
Those looking to ramp up the destruction they can cause can go grab this mod on its Steam Page, where they can also find notes on how to use it and what it contains.
Syringe
Not to be confused with the candy brand, Skittles' Syringe mod adds a ton of new syringes to People Playground, each coming with its own unique effect. Many of these syringes cause terrible things to happen, such as the boom syringe turning people into living bombs or the amputation syringe causing limbs to pop off. However, there are some more positively oriented syringes as well, such as the invincibility syringe or the painkiller syringe.
If you're looking to become the world's most sadistic doctor, you can grab this mod over on its Steam page, but be sure to check out the notes first.
