Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 2.0 was ported to PC in 2022, and with it came a host of new players to the latest Persona fighting game release. Many fans of the game, new and old, are wondering if the re-released game features new updates, new characters, and DLC, especially characters from the popular Persona 5. So are there Persona 5 characters in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax?
Currently, there are no Persona 5 characters in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 2.0. The current version of the game features most of the released DLC characters from previous versions of the game, including Adachi. But currently, no Persona 5 characters are included in the game.
However, some have speculated that the re-release of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is testing the waters for a Persona 5 Arena release or more DLC for P4AU. If the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax release goes well, we could see more support and release of a new game.
After all, Persona 5 has already had great support for spin-off games and sequels. Persona 5 Strikers, Persona 5 Royal, and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight are all critically acclaimed releases from the franchise, and it seems destined that an Arena fighting game should follow. And perhaps DLC characters for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax as well.
