What Is Petit Planet - Everything We Know

In the Petit Planet closed beta test, you'll get access to your very own little planet to play on, terraform, decorate, and pave its way through the cosmos and social connections. You will also be able to choose from many styles and accessories for customizing your avatar.

Reminiscent of the beloved games from the Animal Crossing series, life sim Petit Planet is all about the coziness, gathering collectibles and having fun. What is known so far is that you're going to be able to customize many different planets. A single planet, however, has a finite surface so you're going to have to keep the ideas for a single floating space rock constrained. We'll update as we find new groundbreaking features!

You will be able to play various music instruments, dance, play role-playing games, and more together through the Galactic Bazaar.

Petit Planet Customization Guide

The Planets are going to be fully customizable. Through various tools, you will be able to build layered mountains, dig up spots for moving or still waters, paint and shape paths and various ground surfaces, and many more. This ties in with placeable items, from greenery and shrubbery to man-made objects such as simple fences and outdoor furniture to wind turbines and machinery.

Of course, the living quarters which look way bigger on the inside do not lag with decorative options either. The item catalogues both for indoor and outdoor customization look very rich even in this early stage of the game. The min-maxers can, naturally, adapt the terrain of their little planet for ease of accessibility to various collection skills, for example making sure that a fishing pond is easily reachable right next to the house, etc. It's worth noting that your housing has a rating system of its own through the Appearance reward, with various placed furniture carrying different values. In turn, the Appearance reward levels give out various goodies, some of which are also special furniture pieces.
