Sony's PlayStation 5 completely reinvents the PlayStation interface, adding new menus and processes. While these changes make the PlayStation's interface more cohesive, learning how to use it can be a learning process, especially when editing audio settings for Party and Game chat.
Follow the steps below to adjust Party and Game audio on the PlayStation 5.

- Press the PlayStation button on your DualSense controller to bring up the PS5 Quick Menu.
- Select the Game Base Tab
- Go to Parties
- Enter your desired Party
- Select View Voice Chat
- Select Audio Balance from the Voice chat menu
- Tune the slider to fit your desired audio mix settings.
Players using the official PlayStation Pulse 3D Wireless Headset won't mix audio in their Party settings. Instead, they'll need to use the audio mix buttons on the top of the left earpad labeled Game and Chat. Press the Game button to increase game volume and the Chat button to raise the party chat volume. The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset allows players to adjust the volume of each source at the press of a button.
