All Wild Pokémon Behavior Types in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Know the behaviors before you battle!

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an open-world game that's quite different from other entries in the franchise. One of the features that has been added to the game is Pokémon behaviors, which could help determine the best way to catch and battle Pokémon. So, we've created a guide of each of the behavior types you will come across when exploring the great Hisui region!

Ignore

The behavior is very much that—Pokémon with this behavior type will ignore the player when you get close and are much easier to catch and start battles against than Pokémon with some of the other behavior types.

Skittish

Skittish Pokémon will run away when they come in contact with the player. These Pokémon get startled easily. These types of Pokémon can be easily caught if the player sneaks up on them before throwing a Poké Ball.

Aggressive

Aggressive Pokémon are quickly alerted and will normally begin attacking the moment they see the player. Poké Balls will just deflect off of them when the Red Eye symbol appears above them. Sneaking up on these kinds of Pokémon is also the best way to catch one.

Unaware

These Pokémon haven't yet spotted the player, which could give you an advantage when it comes to the element of surprise. These Pokémon will grant you an extra attack in battle if you throw a Poké Ball that they escape from.
