Magmortar is a great Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It will evolve from Magby (at level 30) and Magmar (using the Magmarizer). Magmortar is a sole Fire-type Pokémon with great special attack capabilities.
Due to Magmortar being a Fire-type Pokémon, most of its powerful moves are also Fire-type. This is because of S.T.A.B. (Same Type Attack Bonus). This allows moves to do increased damage in battle if the Pokémon using them matches the move's typing.

How to use Magmortar best in battle
Magmortar is a sole Fire-type Pokémon, so players should be aware of its weaknesses and resistances. Fire-type Pokémon will take increased damage from Water, Rock, and Ground-type moves. Fire-type moves will be super effective against Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel-type Pokémon.
