Best Nature for Machop, Machoke, and Machamp Pokemon Legends Arceus

As a powerful Physical Pokémon, the Machop evolution line thrives with an Attack raising Nature. Of course, each Nature has to decrease another stat as well, so what stat is okay to reduce? These are the best Natures for Machop, Machoke, and Machamp in Pokémon Legends Arceus.

Best Nature

The Adamant and Naive Nature utilizes the Machop evolution line's best stat, their Attack. The Base Attack for Machop is 80, then as a Machoke this increases to 100, and finally reaches 130 as a Machamp.

• Adamant Nature will increase the Attack stat by 10 percent while reducing the Special Attack stat by 10 percent. The Machop evolution line has poor Special Attack and doesn't learn many Special Attacks to use this stat anyway.
• Naive Nature increases the Attack stat by 10 percent while reducing the Speed stat. With a low Speed stat already, lowering this won't make much of a difference.

Decent Natures

If an Attack raising Nature is difficult to find, players can always settle for a Defense raising Nature. The Machop line has decent Special Defense but their Defense is higher until it is fully evolved in Machoke. As a Machoke, their Defense Base Stat is 80 and their Special Defense is 85.

• Relaxed Nature will increase Defense while decreasing Speed by 10 percent each.
• Impish Nature will increase Defense while decreasing Special Attack by 10 percent each.

Generally, Defense and Special Defense lowering Natures are bad for Pokémon in general. Slow Pokémon can get away with the loss of Speed so it's all about finding the right stat to lower, not always the right stat to raise.
