Best nature for Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

What nature will you give the best Gen IV starter?

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, each Pokémon excels at different roles due to their stat spread. These are Attack, Special Attack, Defense, Special Defense, and Speed. These are then affected by a Pokémon's nature. This is true for all Pokémon, including Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra.

Best Natures

To make the most out of your Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will need to choose the best nature. Below we have compiled the best options for the best nature for Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra.

  • Adamant: Attack (+), Special Attack (-)
  • Impish: Defense (+), Special Attack (-)
  • Careful: Special Defense (+), Special Attack (-)

How to choose the best Nature

We recommend going with the Impish nature Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra. This will increase their already impressive Defense and make them all the tankier. In the opposite of this, you could go with the Careful nature, which increases their Special Defense which is slightly lower than their Defense.

A third option is the Adamant nature which will increase Turtwig, Grottle, and Torterra's Attack, letting them go on the offensive. Their Attack stat is quite high, and when paired with their Defense and Adamant nature, they can be a dangerous Pokémon for your opponent.
