Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduces two new teams to the franchise, the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan. These two clans are constantly at odds with one another and see the world through entirely different lenses. It is hard to get a feel for these two clans at first because of their complicated relationship with each other and the player's own Galaxy Team.
Diamond Clan
The bold Adaman leads the Diamond Clan. Adaman, and the Diamond Clan, worship the deity they know as Sinnoh, believing it to be a ruler and creator of time. They operate with this at their core, emphasizing timeliness and efficiency. Their Clan and beliefs are most closely aligned to the legendary Pokémon of time, Dialga.
Pearl Clan
Irida leads the Pearl Clan. She stands as the newly appointed leader of the Clan and is still trying to prove herself in the role when players meet her. Irida, and the Pearl Clan, also worship Sinnoh but believe that it is the creator and ruler of space. They do not align with this at their core, the Diamond Clan does, but they have fear and respect for the vast open spaces in the Hisui Region. Their beliefs most closely relate to the legendary Pokémon of space, Palkia.
