Sneasel and Weavile are two well known Pokémon in the franchise that were originally released in Generation II and Generation IV, respectively. Until Pokémon Legends: Arceus, we've always considered these Pokémon to be cool by combining their original elemental types, Ice and Dark. According to a recent drop of leaks about the game on Twitter, however, the new Hisuian evolution of Sneasel reinvents what cool is—and it's definitely Sneasel as a Poison and Fighting Pokémon.
UPDATE 1/20/22: Many of the Tweets that highlight the leaked information have been deleted, including the Tweets mentioned below. We will be sure to update this page if the information is made available again!
Pokémon leaker @BallGuyLEAKS revealed via an unknown source how the new versions are supposed to look in game, and we're thoroughly impressed. The Tweets (shown below) posted on Jan. 19, 2022, over a week before the game's release, give us a first look at the deadly new forms.

There is no word yet on the name of Sneasel's new evolution pictured in the Tweet above on the left. We can say for certain that it isn't a different form of Weavile, as the two look nothing alike. It also isn't a stretch to say that shiny Hisuian Sneasel may be one of the best Pokémon revealed in the leak. It certainly looks like Pokémon Legends: Arceus isn't holding anything back when it comes to new content.
