Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the newest entry in the Pokémon series and features many new mechanics and changes. One thing most players do is give their Pokémon nicknames. This can form a stronger bond between the trainer and Pokémon. This may leave players wondering if you can change nicknames in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The answer is yes—you can change your Pokémon nickname in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Once you receive your Pokémon, you can press up on the d-pad and go to the Pokémon you want to change nicknames. Click on it, and the option will appear. You can change your Pokémon nicknames an unlimited number of times.

This is different from previous games as you had to go to the name rater to change your Pokémon's nickname after initially giving it a nickname. This means players can change their Pokémon's nicknames at any point in their journey and as often as they want.

Those who play with Nuzlocke rules will be able to change their Pokémon's nicknames when they want and form a deeper bond with their Pokémon as well. So what names will you come up with?
