How to evolve Vulpix in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

A fox that's available in both fire and ice!

The Hisui region is home to close to 250 different Pokémon. Most of these Pokémon have the ability to evolve into new Pokémon. In most cases, just leveling up your Pokémon will eventually allow them to evolve. Sometimes, however, Pokémon can only evolve if special criteria are met. Here is how to evolve Vulpix in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Vulpix only has one evolution, and it is called Ninetales. There is only one way to evolve Vulpix into Ninetales, and that is with the use of an Elemental Stone. Elemental Stones can be purchased from the Craft Shop in Jubilife Village for 1,000 MP apiece. Giving Vulpix its correlating Elemental Stone will instantly evolve it into Ninetales. You'll need to give Vulpix a Fire Stone (unless you have an Alolan Vulpix, in which case you will give it an Ice Stone).

Players looking to snag a Vulpix can head to the Cobalt Coastlands and Veilstone Cape. Players can quickly catch a Vulpix just by traveling around for a bit in these areas. However, if you are looking to get an Alolan Vulpix, those are unattainable in the wild. The only way to get one is by completing a Request called Snow-white Vulpix in the Snow that you unlock after getting to the Alabaster Icelands.

So there you have it, that is how you can evolve a Vulpix in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Vulpix, as well as Alolan Vulpix, will no doubt be an asset to any team. Vulpix is a powerful Fire-type Pokémon that is strong against Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel types, while Alolan Vulpix is strong against Dragon, Flying, Grass, and Ground types.
