How to get a Fire Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Burning potential.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, there are three Pokémon that can only evolve if they are holding a Fire Stone when they level up: Hisuian Growlithe, Ninetales, and Eevee (if you want it to be a Flareon). Fortunately, Fire Stones are much easier to obtain in Pokémon Legends: Arceus than they are in other games.

How to get a Fire Stone

There are two primary methods of getting a Fire Stone.

  • Trading Post: This is the easiest way to get a Fire Stone in the game, but it requires time and resources. You can get a Fire Stone from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village for 1,000 Merit Points. You get Merit Points be collecting Satchels that you find on the ground and returning them to their owners.
  • Ursaluna: This is a far less tedious method to find Fire Stones, but it depends entirely on luck. When you complete Mission No. 7 and have access to Ursaluna, you can sniff out rare items buried in the ground. All Evolution stones can be gathered this way, Fire Stones included. At the moment, it appears the spawn rate for any stone is entirely random, but it's possible that the area you're in can make a difference.

That's all there is to know about how to get a Fire Stone!
