What better way to start off a new Pokémon adventure than with a free Shiny Pokémon. Here is how to get a free Shiny Ponyta in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Early on in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will unlock the ability to take on requests from NPC's in Jubilife Village, your home for the game. Speaking with an NPC named Yota will give you a Request called A Peculiar Ponyta. This Request will have you hunt down a Ponyta in the Horseshoe Plains located in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

When you finally stumble upon this Ponyta, you will instantly see what makes it peculiar. It is, in fact, a Shiny Pokémon, sporting a mane and tail of blue flames. Once you can locate it, all you have to do is sneak up on it and catch it by any means necessary. Then just return to Yota in Jubilife Village to complete the Request. As a reward, Yota will give you five Razz Berries and let you keep the Shiny Ponyta.
