How to get a full moon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Time to farm for Clefairy!

The day and night cycle in Pokémon Legends: Arceus spawns different encounters and is an easy way of filling up the Pokédex. Weather effects are randomized, but the cycle of the moon is fixed. For completing quests or evolving certain Pokémon during a full moon, sleeping is the only way to quickly get through these moon cycles.

Sleeping

At the player's house and at any camp with a tent, players can sleep to advance to a time of their choosing. Players will advance the day by repeatedly resting Until Nightfall, and the moon will enter its next cycle. Looking at the moon at a high vantage point is a reliable way of checking whether it's full or not, as it can be obscured by weather effects such as fog or rain.

Checking Ursaring

With a Peat Block, players can evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna. This is only possible during a full moon, so they can check their Inventory after players' sleep to check if their Ursaring can evolve. Select the Peat Block from their Inventory, and if the Compatible text pops up, it is a full moon. This can be easier to do than finding a vantage point to look at the moon and is probably why players want a full moon to begin with.
