According to Centro LEAKS, the IV and EV system has been replaced with a new system called Effort Level, or EL. The leaks further detail that each Pokémon has unique base ELs, similar to IVs, and Alpha Pokémon will have extra EL. New items referred to as Grit items can increase EL, and apparently, all ELs can be maxed out.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will certainly shake things up for the Pokémon series and introduce numerous new mechanics and changes. The new EL system could change how players select their Pokémon and make it easier to have fully EL trained Pokémon.

While the leaks have been revealing a lot of information, there is likely still things that will remain a mystery until launch day. Only time will tell what these are and how this new training system will work.
