Shiny Pokémon appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ overworld, according to leaks

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest entry in the popular monster-catching franchise, taking a unique spin on the franchise, turning players into researchers on their journey to complete the world's first Pokédex in the Hisui region. One feature players have asked for in the Pokémon franchise is the ability to see shiny Pokémon in the overworld, and if leaks are anything to go by, that wish may finally be coming true.

According to data miners and leakers who got early copies of the game, players will see shiny Pokémon without initiating a battle, which makes sense, as fights occur in the overworld with no animations or predetermined battle areas impeding that process with Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
