The best Hisuian forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Did your favorite make the list?

Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in ancient Sinnoh, known then as the Hisui region. In the Hisui region, there are quite a few different Hisuian regional variants that players can discover and capture. That said, some of the designs stand above the rest. We looked through all of the Hisuian forms in the game, and made some executive decisions. Here are the 10 best Hisuian forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

10 & 9. Hisuian Voltorb & Hisuian Electrode

Voltorb and Electrode. These designs are great because of the story they imply: That for centuries they have tricked humans into think they were Pokéballs. It’s to the point that they evolved over time from looking like the original Pokéballs, to the modern ones. Amazing.

8. Hisuian Samurott

So, there are thing we both like and dislike about this design, but the things we do like got it on this list. It’s definitely a cool new take on Samurott, but we are unsure if we like it better than the OG.

7. Hisuian Arcanine

We're huge fans of the Hisuian Arcanine design, but the color scheme is the only thing that kept it lower on the list. Had the Shiny form been the base form, it would've made the top 5 easy.

6. Hisuian Growlithe

This pup may have mixed reviews online, but we just think he's a cute fluffy little friend. Adorable. We'll take 20, actually.

5. Hisuian Lilligant

The attention to detail in this design is great. It stands on its own from the Unovan form, but it still feels distinctly like Lilligant. We especially love the look of the flower.

4. Hisuian Sneasel

Sneasel is already a very cool looking Pokémon, and though not much changed about the Pokémon’s core design, the color scheme is really next level.

3. Hisuian Decidueye

This is one of the coolest designs I’ve seen from Pokémon in a long time. As someone who loves Rowlet, but wasn’t the biggest fan of Alolan Decidueye, this design is justice. Both the standard, and the Alolan-inspired shiny are just absolutely show-stealing.

2. Hisuian Zorua

Itty bitty baby. Precious ghosty fox. Make it a plushie now. Hisuian Zorua is so adorable in both the standard and shiny variants, that it could only be beat out by itself.

1. Hisuian Zoroark

That’s right, Zorua’s evolution Zoroark has by far the most amazing Hisuian form out there. This beautiful, hauntingly ethereal beast of a fox not making the cover art of the game was a disservice. Screw the mythicals and legendaries, just give us a Hisuian Zoroark, and we’re good.
