The Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is filled to the brim with rare and exotic Pokémon to catch. Since this is the first open-world main series game, there is nothing stopping players from catching some of the strongest Pokémon from the offset. All a trainer needs are to know where to look, and they can quickly catch a menacing squad.
Where should trainers look for high leveled Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet?
11. Mountain in South Province, Area One
This is the best area to explore in the early game of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The mountain features a winding path that Miraidon can ride up without any upgrades. Mostly level 18 Swablu inhabit this area, but the further players reach, they can find Axew and maybe even Bagon.
10. The Tunnels in East Province, Area Three
Being one of the largest areas in the game, there are plenty of tunnels here to explore. Most of them have Digglet and Makuhita, but occasionally players can find rarities like Sableye, Bagon, and even Gabite by entering and exiting these tunnels.
9. Plateau in South Province, Area Five
This area is very easy to miss. Players start their journeys in South Province, but Miraidon can't get up this plateau without the Climbing ability. Once Miraidon can get up there, players can find several Dragon Pokémon like Bronzong, Luxray, Espathra, and others.
8. Dalizapa Passage
Players will most likely find this area past Tagtree Thicket on their way to Glaseado Mountain. Dalizapa Passage is a small crevice in front of the mountain, which is home to many a Gabite and Medicham. Lucky players might also find Frigibax, which evolves into the pseudo-legendary Baxcalibur.

7. Glaseado Mountain
Despite being a snowy mountain, there is a decent variety of Pokémon to catch here outside of Ice-types. Sure, trainers will run into loads of Cetoddle, Frigibax, and Sneasel here. Greivard also likes to hang out on this mountain, though, as well as Bronzong and even Hawlucha.
6. North Province, Area Three
There isn't much in this area outside of the Team Star Camp for Ortega. If players stick around afterward, they will find plenty of Pokémon around level 50. Floette can be found on the mainland, and you can find things like Eiscue and Gyarados in the surrounding waters.
5. South Province, Area Six
There are two parts of this area: the mountain where the Psychic Gym rests, and the cave beneath it. There is a good chunk of level 48 Ghost and Psychic-types on the mountain (Misdreavaus, Bronzong, Espathra, etc.), but many fans will be more excited to hunt for Garchomp in the cavern below.
4. Socarrat Trail
Outside of the huge Ting Lu that rests within the shrine in Socarat Trail, there are plenty of Pokémon in this area in around the level 50 range. Most of them are either Bug or Grass-type (Toadscruel, Foretress, Heracross, Lurantis, etc.).
3. Casseroya Lake
This area is basically a safe haven for level 50 Water-type Pokémon. Not only will trainers find the titan Dondozo as well as Tatsugiri, but Gyarados, Slowbro, and Avalugg swim here as well as others.
2. Fury Falls
It takes quite a bit of effort to get here (either dropping off the East side of Glaseado Mountain or climbing up the side of East Province Area Three), but it's well worth it. Almost all of the Pokémon here (which include Luxray, Scyther, and Bisharp) are higher than level 50. The surrounding areas also are home to Drakloak and Noivern.

1.The Great Crater of Paldea
No wonder Professor Clavell doesn't want any students going down there. Some of the strongest Pokémon in the region are found in the Great Crater of Paldea (Corviknight, Raichu, etc.). The further down the player goes, the closer the Pokémon get to level 60 until they finally start seeing Paradox Pokémon.
