How to check current Meal Power status in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Time for a check up.

There are multiple ways to gain meal powers in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. You can spend the money and buy food, like Ice Cream, from a local vendor. You can also use Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's picnicking system to make your own sandwiches. What the game fails to explain is how long Meal Powers last and how to check how much longer you'll have those powers. We can help, though.

To check your current Meal Power status from the open world, press your right arrow key. This will open your notification menu on the right-hand side of your screen. Your current Meal Powers are listed on the bottom of this menu, as well as a timer bar that tells you how long these Meal Powers will last. You can also use the notification menu to view the amount of crafting materials needed for a watched TM from the TM Machine.

How long do Meal Powers last in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Meal Powers in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet last 30 minutes from when you ate your last meal. Your timer will continue running in the overworld and menus, like the notification or your main menu. If you really need to stop the clock, you can pause by returning to the Home Screen on your Nintendo Switch Console.

You can reset your meal powers early by eating another dish if you want to. Eating a new dish resets the timer in your notification menu for another 30 minutes.
