How to get Dusk Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Get those Dusk stones!

There are many different ways to evolve Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. The most common, of course, is simply leveling up your Pokémon, but other methods exist, such as trading, raising friendship levels, and, finally, using evolution stones. This includes the Dusk Stone, a somewhat rare evolution item. This may leave you wondering how to find Dusk Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Unlike a majority of the evolution stones in the game, you cannot buy Dusk Stones from the Delibird Presents store. Instead, you must either find them or purchase them from the auction house. While the auction house isn't a reliable way to get Dusk Stones, we have found two locations where you can get this item as sparklinbg items or Pokéballs. These are behind the Montenevera Gym and east of Cascarrafa, which we have marked below.

Dusk Stones are used to evolve Misdreavous into Mismagius, Murkrow into Honchkrow, and even Lampant into Chandelure if you're on the Teal Mask DLC. This means that once you have acquired two Dusk Stones, you do not need to get any more. Those looking to complete the Pokédex or add these Pokémon to their team will need to hunt down Dusk Stones.
