The anniversary of the Pokémon franchise is an event regularly celebrated by The Pokémon Company and fans around the world. This year, Game Freak unveiled that they're currently working on the next entry in the mainline Pokémon franchise by revealing Gen IX. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the subsequent iterations of the long-running franchise in late 2022.
