Is Nemona your new rival in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Nemona is both your friend and your rival. In fact, she'll be present when the time comes for you to choose your starting partner Pokémon. She absolutely loves Pokémon battles and only ever wants you to succeed in your travels. Throughout your journey, she will be a reliable guide that you can count on to help you get out of tough situations.

Even though she has undisputed skills when going against other trainers, it's no surprise that she isn't all that great at actually throwing Poké Balls. It looks like she will be with you all the way until the end and will provide you with valuable experience along the way in the form of Pokémon battles and friendship.
