Can you turn off EXP Share in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

Everyone is getting EXP this time around.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are the latest entries in the Pokémon franchise available for the Nintendo Switch, reintroducing the fourth generation of the popular monster-catching franchise. These games have tweaked how progression works, including how the EXP Share feature reacts to party Pokémon.

EXP Share impacts all party members throughout Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Unfortunately, Players cannot turn off EXP Share in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. If users don't want Pokémon to gain experience automatically, their only option would be to place their Pokémon in a PC and remove them from the party.
