Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl Recieve New Trailer

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are fast approaching for the Nintendo Switch. These faithful recreations of the fourth generation of Pokémon aim to refamiliarize old fans while introducing a younger audience to these games for the first time.

In honor of the upcoming remake, the Pokémon team released a new trailer highlighting some of the features players can look forward to when playing the Diamond and Pearl Remakes. These features include:

  • The All-Purpose Pokétch: A device designed to track Pokémon trainer steps, progress, and use hidden moves.
  • The Poffin Maker: A Café mini-game that allows players to boost stats like Cuteness for Pokémon Beauty Contests.
  • Amity Square: A hub area where trainers can spend time with up to six of their Pokémon outside of their Pokéballs.
  • Updated graphics, style and character models: Completely remade in a 3D engine, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl offer a fresh new look that pays homage to its predecessors.
