Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Part II – Costume Pokémon, Shiny Pumpkaboo, and Origin Forme Giratina

Catch a shiny Pumpkaboo!

Niantic has given details about the Halloween 2022 Part II celebration in Pokémon GO. This event will take place on October 27, 2022, until November 1, 2022, directly following the Halloween 2022 Part I event. The Part II of this Halloween celebration will feature a few debut Pokémon, new shiny Pokémon, and the chance to catch a Giratina with a powerful move.

Debut Pokémon

There will be a few new Pokémon debuting in the mobile game during this event, all of them wearing a costume that is exclusive to the Halloween 2022 event. The full list of Pokémon can be found below.

  • Vulpix* (Wearing a Spooky Festival costume)
  • Ninetails (Wearing a Spooky Festival costume)
  • Gengar* (Wearing a Spooky Festival costume)
  • Pumpkaboo* (Wearing a Spooky Festival costume)
  • Gourgeist (Wearing a Spooky Festival costume)

Egg Hatches

There will be some hard-to-find shiny Pokémon hatching from 7km Eggs, so players wanting to get a few shinies during this event should start by incubating a few eggs.

A whole new rotation of Wild Encounters will be appearing during the event hours. The full list can be found below.

Event Bonuses

There are a handful of Event Bonuses for players to take advantage of during the event. The full list can be found below.

  • Double the amount of Candy when catching Pokémon.
  • Double the amount of Candy when transferring Pokémon.
  • Double the amount of Candy when hatching Pokémon.
  • One guaranteed XL Candy from a Buddy Pokémon.
