What is the Remnant 2 DLC The Awakened King about?

According to the developers at Gunfire Games, the new DLC for Remnant 2 will feature the new main villain called The One True King, a looming evil figure based in his castle, which arrived in a Dran coastal town. All manner of evil critters are crawling from the depts while the chaotic weather and angry tides spread pandemonium among the survivors.

Players will get a real gameplay refresher in the form of the new features, ranging from a new archetype to a new area and enemies. I can't wait to revisit the archetype classes and see how the new Ritualist changes the current metagame. Here is a list of new additions we can expect from the DLC:

  • New archetype - The Ritualist
  • New storyline, dungeons, and area based in the world of Losomn
  • Many items and powerful weapons that enhance gameplay
  • New bosses, characters, and fearsome creatures to encounter
