There are a total of 24 Fish in the Drylands Bestiary, each with its own preferred bait, weather, season & timing requirements. Most of the Drylands fish are under the dunes and require you to equip the Marrow Rod with the Sand Sifter to reel them out.
The Drylands is a POI in Fisch that contains some of the weirdest and most unique fish, as nearly the majority of them are available to catch in sand, low-lying stagnant waters, and oases. So, if you are a completionist and want to catch all the fish in the Drylands, here is a detailed Bestiary guide.
How to reach the Drylands Island in Fisch
Before catching all of your favorite fishes from the islands, you must reach the island in the first place. If you don't know, the Drylands is right next to the Fischfest 2 Island. So, use your Magic Conch to teleport to the Fischfest 2 POI. Go towards the Sand Castle area and walk behind it to reach the dry, arid Drylands POI at GPS (-24497 , 2683, -5386).
How to fish inside the Drylands
As mentioned earlier, the Drylands is one of the most unique islands in the entire Fisch map, as most of the fish are available to catch inside the dunes. In contrast, others are found around the small water-filled oasis and stagnant torrential rainwater area.

For the water areas, you can fish with your regular rods, and everything works fine. But for the fish inside the sand, you must craft the Marrow Rod by finishing the quest offered by the Palentiologist Petri on Drylands Island at GPS (-23924,2696,-6213), which revolves around collecting three different parts.
